Clubmark

The Bulldogs were only the second Basketball Club in Merseyside and the second club in the Wirral to gain Sport England Clubmark back in 2004. Since then we have successfully re-accredited twice.

In becoming accredited and retaining it, we are consistently demonstrating that we provide a safe and secure environment for our members (the safeguarding and protecting part, which is general across all sports) while also developing our members as players, coaches, referees and table officials (the basketball part). We are proud of our coaches and internationals as evidence of development of our members.

We regularly support our members - teenagers and adults - to attend courses for refereeing, coaching or table officiating. This is evidence of our commitment to all parts of the sport, not just the playing part.
